Data Policy
Scope
This Data Policy describes how GenService Pro handles customer workspace data, including operational records, uploads, and retained system data inside the application environment.
Service data categories
- Customer, lead, and equipment records.
- Appointments, service records, invoices, quotes, warranty items, and notes.
- Uploads such as photos, signatures, and related job documentation.
- Billing metadata required to provision and maintain the subscription.
Retention and deletion
Active workspaces retain data for normal platform operation. After subscription cancellation, operational data may remain available for up to 30 days before scheduled cleanup, unless a longer period is required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute handling.
Customers are responsible for exporting and maintaining independent copies of business-critical records they need for operations, compliance, tax, accounting, warranty, or customer-service purposes. GenService Pro disaster-recovery backups, when maintained, are for platform continuity and are not a guaranteed customer restore, archival, or records-retention service.
Security and access
GenService Pro uses role-based access, encrypted transport, and cloud-backed infrastructure controls designed for a multi-tenant business operations platform. No system is perfectly secure, but administrative and technical safeguards are applied to reduce risk.
Exports and requests
Workspace owners may request data export, deletion review, or retention questions through support@genservicepro.com.
Export requests must come from an authorized workspace owner and may be provided in CSV, JSON, file archive, or another commercially reasonable format. Exports may take a reasonable time to prepare. Some system logs, billing records, fraud-prevention records, security records, backup copies, and dispute-related records may be retained after workspace deletion where permitted or required.
Customer-caused loss and integrations
GenService Pro is not responsible for data loss, corruption, or disclosure caused by customer deletion, user error, credential compromise, unauthorized sharing, incorrect configuration, third-party integrations, customer devices, or failure to export data before cancellation or cleanup.
Relationship to privacy notice
The Privacy Policy explains broader information handling for the website, application, and account interactions. This Data Policy adds service-data handling details specific to workspace records and operational retention.
